Tea Description | The White Dragon Pearls is an exquisite white tea crafted from spring-harvested Da Bai leaf buds from Fuding, Fujian Province. Fine white tea from China’s coastal Fujian Province is known for its excellent standard of quality due to the high elevation tea gardens that are shrouded in cool mist with abundant clean air- these tea gardens produce some of the world’s finest white tea.
Tender buds plus one to two leaves are hand plucked and delicately hand rolled into pearl shapes, producing a tea that is smooth, light and fruity. This tea is perfect for those who prefer a stronger and robust finish from a white tea. The aroma of the tea is smoky and rich, resembling a perfectly brewed cup of Pilochun early harvest green.
Once steeped, the result is a delicate, fine flowery white tea with a mild flavor, and a gentle fruit blossom finish. White Dragon Pearls has a taste that is much more delicate than a Bai Hao Yin Zhen, or Bai Mu Dan. |
