| Tea Description | Named for the lucky flower of wealth it resembles, Our Green Peony/ Lv Mu Dan green tea is made in a village in Huangshan mountain of China’s Anhui province, that is known for the quality and craftsmanship of its display teas. This hand-tied Green Peony Tea is comprised of only young buds grown deep in the mountains among fresh water springs and cool mists. The highest quality leaf and bud sets are picked in the early spring, carefully hand-made by experienced tea artisans in the shape of a flower, and then the rich and varied green color leaves are sewn together with a silk thread into the shape of a peony flower/ Rosette.
This tea offers a visual delight that cups to a full–bodied and sweet lingering taste. The leaves "blossom" to reveal a sweetly floral aroma and a delicate and smooth flavor when covered by hot water. To showcase this tea at its finest, we recommend brewing the Green Peony tea in a gaiwan (the traditional Chinese covered steeping cup) or sturdy wine glass or glass teapot.
