Jasmine White Monkey (Jasmine Bai Mao Hou), one of the more delicate teas in our jasmine green range, is a beautifully floral and refreshing Jasmine tea and is made from a rare Chinese green tea White Monkey grown in the Taimu Mountains in Fujian, Southeast China, which is then scattered with natural jasmine blossoms from Hengxian County in Guangxi province and left to naturally infuse with scent and flavour for an aromatic, refreshing and floral tea with a sweet finish. The tea leaves are beautifully curled and fully covered with white down, resembling a ’’monkey’s paw’’, which gradually unfurl when brewed.
The natural infusion of jasmine flavour from pure jasmine blossoms scattered over the drying leaves results in this exquisite and aromatic infusion with light refreshing sweetness. A pale, clear infusion with a garrulous hint of green tea allows the jasmine to shine through. The taste is smooth and rich with a sweetness similar to that of sugar cane. The added infusion of jasmine makes this a sweet and smooth cup of tea.
