Oriental Beauty Tea (aka Peng Feng Tea), a unique famous tea in Taiwan, is also known as Baihao Oolong Tea because its tea buds are covered with prominent white pekoe (Baihao), and is a tea with the highest fermentation degree among all the semi-fermented oolong teas, wherein the fermentation degree of common oolong tea is 60%, some as high as 75-85%.

No pesticides can be applied in the production process of Oriental Beauty Tea, hence more difficult production and a more precious tea. It is said that a British tea merchant once respectfully presented this tea to the British Queen Victoria. The Queen was full of praise for its gorgeous appearance after brewing, exactly resembling a stunning beauty dancing in a transparent crystal glass, and gave it the name "Oriental Beauty" after being captivated by its special aroma and taste.
